The Horsies of Black Mist

I love horses!  So I'll probably end up with a lot more besides the breeds I specialize in.  There was a time when I tried to limit myself to mostly hexed breeds that would actually act similar to cats and dogs in real live.  But no more!  I've totally given up on that idea.  There are just too many awesome breeds out there now.  I don't care that my horses play bow.  XD  So, here are my other random horsies!  Wee!

King of Vagabonds

Irish cobs are really beautiful horses.  I love big horses with big furry hooves.  Vagabond is so named because Irish cobs were used by gypsies to pull their caravans.  Gypsies wonder around a lot, so vagabond made sense.  I love the sound of the word vagabond, it sounds somehow majestic and humble at the same time, so that's how I came up with his name.

Lazarus, Rise From Death

Oh.  My.  God.  I couldn't believe how lucky I was when Manda gave me one of her horses.  This was back in the early days of the file, when hardly anybody had a horse.  I won a contest and Lazarus was my prize, I got to design him myself and Manda hexed him for me.  I have no idea why I named him Lazarus, I just think the name sounds cool and somehow fits him.  He is a sexy beast that's for sure!  I love his simple black and white.  And he has odd eyes!  I have such an obsession with natural odd eyes.  Laz will always be a really special horsie.  I loffs him!

Sisters of Avalon

OMG OMG Manda gave me her horse file.  She gave it to me!  That was so amazing, I was so excited and flattered!  I mean I was one of the first few chosen to have the file back in the day!  I will always be indebted to Manda for that.  I knew the first thing I wanted to do was hex an appaloosa.  So I hexed Avalon!  This file is not easy to put spots on, it's quite complicated.  But I enjoyed the challenge and I think I did okay.  Avalon is named after a Cyndi Lauper song of the same name as her formal name.

Skullduggery

Skullduggery was hexed by me (using Manda's horse file of course) to resemble a Breyer Horse that I really badly want, but probably never will get.  (Breyer Horses are collectible plastic model horses) Skullduggery was a special limited addition horse for Halloween, he is a black appaloosa with his spots making the shape of a skull, and the blaze on his forehead looking like a ghost.  I am not that great with spots, and Manda's horse is not that easy to put spots on, so it was a real challenge for me to create Skullduggery, but I think he turned out okay.  Since the model horse Skullduggery is super rare and expensive and will never be mine, I am really thrilled that I can have him in my Petz game.

Nierika

Nierika is so pretty and has such amazing spot work.  Just look at that hand print on her chest, wow!  I love her pale color combo and beautiful odd eyes.  Her texture mixes the colors so nicely.  And her pink nose is so cute!  She was part of one of the first litters of hexed Manda horses when Manda gave the file out to select people.  I was so excited to get Nierika!  I can't get over how beautiful she is, I love watching her gallop around my screen.
