OMG it's a naked dog! Totally devoid of fur on their bodies, but with frills of flowing long hair on their feet, tail and head, Chinese Crested dogs are quite a sight to see. It seems you either think they're incredibly ugly or stunningly beautiful. I am of the latter persuasion. I love them because they are strange, they are fascinating, and they are wonderful little dogs. They almost don't look like dogs at all. With their slender figure and flowing mane, they almost resemble horses more than canines. Chinese Cresteds are elegant, delightful, surprising, flashy, and unique. They are everything but your normal, ordinary dog.

| Most people don't know this, but I have a bit of an obsession with the character Chiana from the sci-fi series Farscape. This girl reminds me of Chiana cuz she's gray, and that feathery white hair. So that's what I named her. |

| Poor Dana, his name is a little girly. But don't tell him that, he's a bit sensitive about it. I thought Bad Hair Day would be a funny name for a Crested. Isn't it? But Dana's hair always looks good, he doesn't have bad days. |

| Lexxi is hexed to resemble a real Chinese Crested. I really like the way she turned out. I thought of the name Lexxi right away, but I had a hard time thinking of a show name. I asked for help on TPS and someone (I forgot who) suggested Deny the Temptress. It seems perfect for her. |

| Nevi was hexed to look like a real Crested I saw a picture of. Well sort of. It's hard to get the markings just right because you can't put spots on lines. Plus all those tiny spots are hell to make. But I think he looks good. I don't know how I thought up his name. It seems to me that 'never enough' is in a song I know, but I can't think of what song. Anyway it sounds cool. And Nevi I made up from it, I thought it sounded cute. |

| Chinese Cresteds remind me of David Bowie. Is that weird? Maybe it's because I was listening to David Bowie songs while hexing my Cresteds. That sexy hair reminded me of how David Bowie looked in the movie Labyrinth. And the song Diamond Dogs made me imagine a gang of street tough but stylish Chinese Cresteds. So I hexed this sexy guy. I don't think I can show him because if his eyes (but a dog named after Bowie has to have odd eyes!) but I don't care, he's one of my favorites. |

| Look she's not naked! So far my one and only powder puff. I think she's pretty cool. She's named after the Eagle's song of course. Sorcière means witch in. . . Ah crap, some language, I forgot. *is dumb* I asked for help on TPS in comming up with her call name after I had thought up her formal name, and someone (whome I've forgotten, sorry!) came up with Sorcière because it means witch. |

| Believe it or not, Spunk is actually hexed after a picture of a real dog! Well okay, so the picture was photoshoped, either that or the dog's fur was dyed. But I think the pic was edited. I saw this picture of a CC with pink fur and a pink Mohawk, being held by a guy with a pink Mohawk. It was so amusing that I had to hex it! So here is my rad spunky girl. |
